Custom Imprinted Business Checks

We use PMS (Pantone Matching System) is best for ultimate color accuracy and consisenty (like a precise corporage logo).

Heres why we use PMS vs CMYK

Feature PMS (Spot Color) CMYK (Process Color)
How it works Inks are pre-mixed to a specific formula before printing (like mixing paint). Four standardized ink colors overlap on the page to create a spectrum of colors.
Color Accuracy Perfect. The color will look exactly the same regardless of who prints it. Approximate. Colors can vary slightly between different printing companies or paper types.
Best For Logos, branding assets, stationery, and specialized colors (metallic, neon). Photographs, multi-colored artwork, brochures, and magazines.
Cost Efficiency Cheaper for 1–2 colors; becomes very expensive if your design has many colors. Cost-effective for complex, full-color designs because it always uses the same 4 plates.

During the order process, there will be alot of questions to ask to make sure we have the order correct.

This will include asking for:

Check type
Check Style
Color Logo
PSM Colors
Borders
Pantograph ( The way you want the checks too look)
Or... your own design.
and other information.

When to Choose PMS

  • Brand identity is critical: If your company logo must look absolutely identical whether it is printed on a business card, a cardboard box, or a t-shirt.

  • You need specialty inks: CMYK cannot replicate neon colors, highly vibrant oranges/greens, or metallic finishes (like gold and silver). PMS has specific inks for these.

  • The design uses very few colors: If you are only printing a 1- or 2-color design, PMS ensures crisp, solid blocks of color. The colors are solid and not faded looking like CMYK. Makes your business look more professional looking, as it represents your brand.
